ANTHROPOLOGY
Anthropology provides a wonderful open window for understanding
humankind. I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at
Carleton University. My main interest is symbolic anthropology.

Tibetan culture, scholarship and religion reflect a unique society where the
exploration of consciousness was the first priority for vast numbers of individuals and
institutions. My interest in Tibetan culture and religion is both professional and
personal.
