CYBER ANTHROPOLOGY
Anthropologists have always been at the cusp of cultural exploration. Never before however
have we had the opportunity to watch new global cultural forms emerge so quickly. This is
an exciting opportunity!
There are lots of resources for cyber anthropologists on the Web. They vary greatly in
content and quality and many are under construction (like this one). In Cyberia that is a
good sign. Fluid movement of information, updating and revolution are the essence of the Web
and its scholars must be light on their feet too.
Here are a few links to get on with. My students will find more than enough here to feed a
course assignment. I am always interested in hearing about new cyber
anthropology links -
just email me.
