Students interested in pursuing either an undergraduate thesis or a graduate degree in physical geography with a thesis project related but not limited to the research topics listed here, please contact myself or the Dept. of Geography for more information. My research examines soil-plant-atmosphere interactions. I am interested in the exchange of carbon dioxide, water vapour, and energy between ecosystems and the atmosphere and the effects of natural and human-induced disturbances on this type of ecosystem function.
