How I got Interested in NTN Trivia/When I Started Playing

In December 1995, while visiting a friend in Ohio, I was introduced to a game called NTN trivia. My friend and I were out for dinner at BW-3 enjoying chicken wings and beverages when I noticed that instead of sports on the bars TV there was some sort o f trivia game being played within the bar. My friend and I decided to join in on the fun and each got a Playmaker for ourselves. We were having a good time and ended up playing for a few hours. At the end of each game they give rankings for individual pla y and bar play all across North America, so I had learned that I might be able to play the game once I got back to Canada. I found a few local bars in Peterborough (where I was living at the time) where I could play this game.
