Important Information
The
pages have been organized hierarchically. The
Introduction page is the top level, the Section
Overviews are the second level, the content pages
are the third level, and for the most part the
images are the fourth level. For a better
understanding, view the Table of Contents page which displays the
hierarchical organization.
There
is a navigational bar at the top of every page
and text links at the bottom of every page.

The Up arrow takes you up one level in the
hierarchy. The Left and Right arrows take you
back or forward through the current level. On
this bar there are also links to the Table of
Contents, the Web Board, and the Search engine.
Words
which appear in italics and red
hyperlink are words which are linked to the
Section Terms pages. You should know these terms.
In other cases there are words which appear in bold
and red hyperlink, these links are meant to
be followed as they drop down into another level
of the hierarchy (e.g. 5-4-6.htm).
There
is a "Top" button image at the
bottom of every page which are meant to take you
to the top of the current page.
The
Carleton logo on every page is linked directly
back to the main Introduction page.
It is
recommended that these pages be viewed using
Netscape 3 or better. It is also recommended that
your display be set at 16-bit colour or better.
Other browsers should still work properly on this
site.
