My pictures
Thought I'd share a few of
my favourite pictures of some of my friends.

|
Meet Sunshine. She's a 15 year old red tabby
persian, born in Raleigh, North Carolina, and has a
fiery temperament. She's the smallest lap kitty
I've ever known. We chose her because she was the
runt and because her brother was sluggish and she
was not. Her full name, according to her papers, is
Tigger-Lily Sunshine Walter. She loves to bask in
the sun, a warm fuzzy lap wrapped in a robe, and
sardines fresh out of the can. We love her to bits
even though she's bossy.

Meet Blossom. She's a 9 year old calico
cat, born in Ottawa (we think). We obtained her
from the local Humane Society. She's a big cat
compared to her older sister but more gentle of
temperament. I chose her because when I picked her
up she put a paw on my cheek and licked my nose.
How could I put her down after that? Not to be
undone by her sister, we named her Lotus Blossom
Walter. She loves to sit in my flower patches,
cuddle up with the furless beings in the house, and
sphaghetti sauce. We love her even though she
doesn't always go in her box where she's supposed
to.

Meet some of our feathered outdoorsy friends.
This is Mr. Goldfinch who frequented our window
feeder this summer until Blossom discovered him and
jumped at the window. He was rather camera shy but
I did manage to capture his beauty on film. He
was often accompanied by his less colourful female
friend.

This is Mr. Housefinch. He too visited us this
summer and was plagued by jumping cats in the
window. Now and again he also brought his lady
friend with him, perhaps to demonstrate how good a
provider he could be.
