ajuktaut
raquet made of coiled sinew whip used to play game with leather ball. Teams (those born in winter, those born in summer)

akulisiaq
In a 1973 interview Pitseolak talked about how important it was for a man to wear the waterproof jacket akulisiaq made of the gut of the bearded seal. With it a man can be tightly laced into his kayak. Even the hood and sleeves are laced in. Without it he could die.

symbol used by Pangnirtung Eskimo Co-operative. It looks like an inukshuk
