STUDENT PARTICIPATION IN DEVELOPMENT OF USEFUL WEB-BASED RESOURCES
Student participation in the critical development of useful tools that will be shared on the course web-page accounts for 20% of the final mark. Students can submit their work by email, through this form or by floppy diskette. This includes:
- A glossary of frequently used terms including terms in your indigenous language
- A timeline of cross-cultural, cross-disciplinary socio-historical pivotal moments. These are added first into the student's own page of resources:
- Selected bibliography
- An annotated list of pivotal figures in sociological literature stressing aboriginal content
The final project (5 page paper, web-based project for 198-300 and a 10 page paper, web-based project for 53.100) 15% of the final grade is due on the last week of courses. See course outline
- Students' projects based on one of the ten themes covered in this course
