Weekly Schedule of Readings and Topics
The course topics parallel the chapters in the text. As you can see, we move through a variety of very broad and important issues quickly from week to week. We will spend two class meetings on each topic. You should plan on reading the assigned chapter for the first of the two meetings so that you can work on your journal entry between the two classes.

During the final four sessions, we will take a more integrated approach to these topics as groups present their research projects and web sites. This integration will provide important preparation for the final exam. We will discuss issues related to Chapter 11, Globalization and Global Problems, during these four sessions (there will not be a multiple-choice test on this chapter).

Well, that's a lot, but that's it! Oh yes, one more thing . . . please,

don't let the exams get in the way of your learning!
