Group P roject Web Site - Marking Scheme

On the following pages, I have provided a framework f or the assessment of the group
research project and project web sites. I will use this to evaluate your groupproject, so it
would be a good idea to review these criteria as you develop your own web sites.

This evaluation hasthree parts: Content, Organization, and Creativity. In addition to these
three aspects of the web site itself, you will also receive a mark for th e group oral
presentation. The oral presentations will be assessed as a group using the same criteria we
used for the individual oral presentations.

Two aspects of your individual grade are based on group pe rformance: 1)
the group oral presentation, and 2) the organization of your overall web
site.

As the content of your research is our central focus, the content ofyo ur individual site
provides the basis for the majority of your individual mark. The breakdown in the grading
for the overall project is set out in the following table. (Note: As explained in the course
outline, the group research projec t is worth 25% of your total grade in the course.)
